As pandemic lockdowns were implemented in March of 2020, Ill Will launched an epistolary exchange between comrades around the globe. In addition to keeping lines of communication open, we sought to produce a partisan representation of the graduated spectrum of biosecurity governance as it expressed itself locally. The letters we received from across the USA, as well as Canada, France, and Chile paint a rich and diverse portrait of the suspended economies of desire and rebellion that served to define the spring before the storm.
